Chief of Staff, Othram

Colby Lasyone is Chief of Staff at Othram Inc., the leading forensic sequencing laboratory for law enforcement. He oversees casework operations and ensures that agencies across the United States, and internationally, can leverage Othram technology in their workflows. Colby has worked in biotechnology for a decade, developing and managing service and product lines that use advanced DNA testing to help improve outcomes. Prior to joining Othram, Colby managed laboratory operations at Fulgent Genetics, one of the largest genetic testing providers in the United States. Colby also led operations at VideoFizz, which developed the technology that is used by Hallmark to create video greetings. A native of Louisiana, Colby holds a Master of Science degree in Biology from Louisiana Tech University.
